On Wednesdays we fundraise and satisfy our sweet tooth at the same!

We host Kona ice the first Wednesday of the month and sell Dippin' Dots the remainder of the month.

Green Team We accept recycling every Friday as part of our Green Team initiative and a unique fundraiser!

Membership The PTO offers four levels of membership sponsorships (Pig, Mr. Tortel, Sebastian & Goldie) with varying perks!

Box Tops for Education Simply download the app and scan your receipts with products you already buy to earn money for our school! Or if you shop at Walmart- you can link your account in the app and skip the scanning altogether and automatically earn cash for our school.
Ralphs Community Rewards Create a digital account and link your shoppers card, then select Golden View PTO. as the organization you wish to support in the Ralphs community rewards section of your digital account!
When you shop, scan your shoppers card and your transactions will automatically benefit our PTO!

PAST '25-'26 FUNDRAISERS

 WHERE DO THE FUNDS GO?

More than 90% of the funds raised go directly to benefit the students and staff at Golden View!  Less than 10% goes to the Operating Costs like supplies and legal items that keep PTO going!  Below is a detailed breakdown of where the fundraising money is going...

*Educational Enrichment!  About 54% of our budget goes to programs that directly support a well-rounded education for our students.  This makes a huge impact on their educational experience here at Golden View! Currently, PTO funds every single field trip our students take!  They go to great places like the Santa Ana Zoo, the Long Beach Aquarium and the Heritage House as well as take smaller trips like those to the Bolsa Chica Wetlands and the Shipley Nature Center.  Buses are extraordinarily expensive to rent, so we cover the costs!  We also give money towards updating the School Library, and contribute in many ways to the Farm!

*Classroom Boosts!  Teachers need extra materials throughout the year that aren't covered in the district budgets, so each teacher gets a small budget from PTO to use at their discretion!  There are also enhanced learning programs like the AR Program, Kinder Readers, Golden Tickets, Student Testing Support and more!  These make up about 25% of our budget!

*Schoolwide Events!  Most of our events are self-supporting, but we do use about 9% of our budget to support these so that the events are cost effective for all the families!  These include: Skate Nights, Movie Nights, Trunk or Treat, Holiday Shop, Lunch on the Lawn, Fall/Spring Book Fair, Rubber Ducky Regatta, Multi-Cultural Night, Literacy Picnic, and the End-of-the-Year Party!

*Teacher & Staff Appreciation!  The staff at Golden View does SO much for our students!  That's why we love to celebrate them with things like National Custodian Day, Teacher & Staff Lunches throughout the year, Teacher and Staff Appreciations Weeks and more!  With all the amazing donations from parents, we are able to maximize only 2% of the budget to use for these celebrations!

Together, we are creating an incredible educational experience for all of our students and their amazing teachers and staff!
